• Which Primrose product helps with leaking hydraulic seals?

  Primrose 532T Seal Saver is a seal conditioning concentrate added to tractor hydraulic-transmission fluid, industrial hydraulic oil or hydraulic oil to reduce leaks, at 15% where significant seal leakage exists or 5% to 10% for light to moderate needs. Primrose says it keeps seals pliable and prevents drying, shrinking, hardening and cracking, which cause excessive leakage. It is not for fire resistant, polyalkylene glycol, polyol ester or silicone hydraulic fluids.

• What is the difference between 532T Seal Saver and 480M Ultragard in hydraulic oil?

  532T Seal Saver conditions seals to reduce hydraulic leaks, while 480M Armor Plate with Moly-D Ultragard is an oil supplement that strengthens an oil's film and adds Moly-D protection to motor, gear, hydraulic and compressor oils. In hydraulic oil, 480M is mixed 1:20 and 532T is added at 5% to 10%, or 15% for significant seal leakage. 480M is not designed for automatic transmission, wet clutch or friction drive fluids.
